When I originally came into possession of a shiny new Steam Deck, I told myself that this time will be different. I’m only in it to play games. No tinkering. I tell myself the same thing every time I start a new Fallout or Elder Scrolls game. Fast forward hundreds of hours later, and I’m roaming The Wasteland as Darth Vader, or slaying a dragon that looks suspiciously like “Macho Man” Randy Savage.
I started this site to share my experience with running games on the Steam Deck that either you might not have thought about, or games that some people automatically assumed wouldn’t work, like the leaked Goldeneye Xbox Live Arcade port running with Xenia.
